florals, stripes, paisleys, oh my! animal prints, houndstooth, and polka dots, too!

we love prints. character, color, texture, and boldness take center stage when you shun your solids for patterns. each ethnic group has their own namesake style, and prints often take center stage in fashions from cultures around the globe.

we saw lots of gorgeous prints on the runways this year. floral prints are not chained to a single season, and surprising combinations create a look of whimsy and fun. designers draw from different cultures for inspiration in their collections, pairing sassy prints with rich jewel tones, and paying homage to traditional cultural dress in their silhouettes.
