simply fabulous: we heart seniors reenacting hollywood classics

a group of seniors at a retirement community in Germany recreated classic Hollywood movie moments for a 2014 calendar, and we are swooning over the beautiful results! ignoring modern beauty ideals, the individuals, many in their 80s, embraced their senior status and had fun with costumes, makeup, props, and the talent of a local photographer to create each scene. the photos are fabulous in their accuracy, and beautiful in their depiction of each individual’s natural beauty. it’s so refreshing to see that one can still feel beautiful, empowered, and alive at a mature age. we admire the irreverent attitude, glamour, romance, and unique style behind each of the photographs. check out our favorites below!Contilia Kalender 2014 - Senioren-Projekt - Klassiker
